Evan Joseph "Kaz" Kasprzak (born June 15, 1987) is a tap and theater jazz dancer, best known for finishing third on the Fox show ''So You Think You Can Dance'', and for being the first dancer on the show specializing in the style that the show refers to as "Broadway". He created the role of "Elmer" in the Broadway musical ''Newsies''.
==Early life==
Evan Joseph Kasprzak was born in Monroe, Michigan, the youngest of three sons. His older brother Ryan is a television choreographer and his brother Ian is a computer engineer. Evan graduated from Wylie E. Groves High School and earned a BFA in musical theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University. Before appearing on ''So You Think You Can Dance'', Kasprzak starred in a short dance film entitled "After Hours", written by Nathan Hartman and directed by Jason Eberly.
